The week before Thanksgiving, I was working hard on quashing my quilt queue. Whew!!
Got 2 1/2 baby quilts done!!
The 1/2 was the second twin’s top pieced.
On a serious roll here!
While I sew, I sing Scripture songs, and pray for the baby I’m making the quilt for. I pray that they will grow up and accept Jesus as their Savior at an early age. That they will have all the fruit of the Spirit in their life.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
(I love that peace is a purple plum!)
And whatever God brings to my mind, to pray for that particular child.
Also, I sing Scripture songs, and just worship Jesus. Quilting with love, and joy!! Anybody remember my middle name is Joy??) 😉
Had to take a break on Tuesday, to do the turkey t-shirts.
Wednesday, back at it to finish the 1/2. Had the top pieced, and started the actual quilting.
On Thanksgiving, the girls and DD1 were all gone, so I quickly, quietly quilted, quashing that queue!
Done before Thanksgiving night!! Yes!!
Quilt queue quashing is no longer in question!
A Quilting Queue post.
