Resurrected , Risen!!

First was Palm Sunday.

 When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a colt.

took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ The King of Israel!”
“Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”

Then Passover

Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;

Jewish people still celebrate Passover, (Pesach, like my wonderful friend, Dolly.)

Then His trial.

And when they had bound Him, they led Him away and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate the governor
Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said to him, “Let Him be crucified!” slob, Jesus' trial, crucifition
And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe.

His Crucifixion:

 John 19:17-18  (NKJV)

The King on a Cross

17 And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, 18 where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center.

His Death

John 19:30  (NKJV)

30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!”And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

His burial.

Then he bought fine linen, took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen. And he laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard.

John 20:1-18 

Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.” Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. .

Christ is Risen!

He is Risen!!         Response:  He is Risen indeed!




And He’s coming back for us who live for Him!!

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with thein the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Better get right, or get left!!
