This details the daring diamond in the door.
Nope, it’s not a diamond anymore. Sorry, I forgot. The VPK kids had to learn that it’s a rhombus! What the what the?? Yea, when PP brought home the shapes paper to memorize, I had to look that one up!! I hadn’t heard the word rhombus since I taught 5th grade, 3 decades ago!!
I don’t care what they say, it’ll always be a diamond to me!
Can you imagine singing, “Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are. Like a rhombus in the sky…”
Just not the same! Sorry for the sidetracking, there.
Back to the real topic, my daring door diamond.
Step 3 inside.
Lift up paint can, and realize dear wife is NOT gonna be happy with a purple circle on her brand new patio table, UNLESS I paint the whole thing purple. Now I’ve just gone and made more work for myself. smh at self.
Step 7. Step back and admire the pretty purple, daring door diamond!

A Joy House post. Brought to you by purple paint, and perspiring painter.
