Daring Door Diamond

slob, humor, double taped diamond

This details  the daring diamond in the door.

Nope, it’s not a diamond anymore.         Sorry, I forgot.          The VPK kids had to learn that it’s a rhombus!                     What the what the??            Yea, when PP brought home the shapes paper to memorize, I had to look that one up!!          I hadn’t heard the word rhombus since I taught 5th grade, 3 decades ago!!

I don’t care what they say, it’ll always be a diamond to me!

Can you imagine singing, “Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are.        Like a rhombus in the sky…”                     slob, twinkle, twinkle

Just not the same!             Sorry for the sidetracking, there.

Back to the real topic, my daring door diamond.

Lift up paint can, and realize dear wife is NOT gonna be happy with a purple circle on her brand new patio table, UNLESS I paint the whole thing purple.         Now I’ve just gone and made more work for myself.         smh at self.

  1. Dear Lucy
Rhombuses are in and diamonds are also in ( only for girls- they are probably out of Math classes).
    Loved your creation.
But what is a door diamond ?
