Such satisfying sustenance!!

slob, humor, carmelized onions

I was frying onions to put into ground beef the other day.          Then I was going to be frying fresh mushrooms, to add to same beef.

Well, I love me some caramelized onions!               So, some of them never made it into the Pot !!  (affiliate link)

This was my supper that night.            Such satisfying sustenance!!

As my penance, I had to cut up and fry another onion.          slob, humor, crying face

  1. I LOVE fried onions!

    Wanna know something crazy?

When I was on my diet (last year… or maybe it was 2 years ago, I dunno) I discovered that if you cut a sweet onion into long strips, and fry them up, you can a teriyaki sauce over them and serve it with cut up grilled chicken. It’s like a healthy alternative to noodles and tastes soooo good. You can try it with lots of different sauces too to keep the flavors interesting. My favorite was NO SAUCE because the camelized onion was so good by itself. 🙂
